She lived in a world
Far way from ours,
Where the sun did not shine
Like it does over us.

Where the skies are painted
In grey and black,
Colour and happiness
Is what they lack.

He entered her world
To add some colour,
Love and laughter
Made it less duller.

He broke the walls
That caged her heart,
Walked right in
And became a part.

He was kind
To put her before himself,
He looked after her
Like an angel’s elf.

Now the sun shines brightly
Over the yards,
And the moon lights their path
Even in the darkest hours.
