In playschool it started,

This journey of 13 years,

Entered the gates grumbling,

And now leaving with joyful tears.

This journey has evolved me,

Helping me overcome fears,

Never ever I realised that,

I would get so attached with peers.

I’ve learnt many subjects,

Like physics laws and english preposition,

I learnt values and manners,

Like the “namaste” tradition.

I recall how in first period,

The bell rang in the morning,

The same sound at the end of lunch,

Was more like a warning.

I’ll always miss events,

Like the balsatsang and elocution,

For such wonderful opportunities,

I thank this prestigious institution.

Intra avm football,overnight camp,

And the annual sports meet,

All of these important days,

Have memories old and sweet.

I’ll miss this ground,

Where we played football,

And how we judged assemblies,

Sitting in marwah hall.

The benches of the class,

The seats of the bus,

Even the staircase,

Holds a memory with us.

Though sometimes school mates fight,

There is never room for hate,

I have memories with all of you,

I love my every school mate.

For school there is always,

A feeling of strong affection,

With every Avmite,

Feels a homely connection.

We have to leave this second home,

Just like matured birds leave the nest,

This was just the first stage of life,

Life has more things to test,

Our batch is so affable and talented,

This 2020 batch is indeed the best

The uniform has been like our skin,

With it the avm logo is on our heart,

Yes I’m leaving you my lovely school,

But my warmth for you will never part.
